2290Expert.com (also 2290Experts.com) prepares IRS Form 2290 and related forms from the information you enter, and, if you choose and pay for it, transmits the return to the IRS electronically. We are not the IRS, not a government agency, and not affiliated with either.
Not tax advice
Nothing on this site is legal or tax advice. Information pages describe IRS rules in plain language; the IRS instructions control.
Your responsibilities
- The information you enter is accurate and complete.
- You have authority to sign for the business.
- You pay the tax to the IRS. Our fee is for preparing and e-filing; it never includes the tax.
Free filing
Preparing and downloading the paper package is free. The IRS processes paper returns on its own timeline; we don't control it.
Fees and refunds
E-file fees are shown before you pay. If we can't transmit your return and can't fix it with you, we refund the fee. Rejections caused by information you entered (wrong EIN, new EIN not yet active, mismatched name) are retransmitted free once corrected.
Limitation
Our liability is limited to the fee you paid us. We are not liable for penalties, interest, registration delays, or other losses arising from information you provided or from IRS or state processing.
